Chris read an article the other day noting how crazy so many people behave these days. He thinks they are right; we are all a little crazy at times. Nothing seems to bring the craziness out quite like holiday gatherings. His tip? Accept it.  Even embrace the fact the in-laws, cousins, and neighbors are coming. Bring it upon yourself to greet each and every one of them with a smile. Accept them for who they are and focus on the point of being together. Family, good times, and well wishes make all the craziness worthwhile. One more tip for the season . . . give a little of your blessings to others. I heard a few stories recently on her favorite radio station, that are great reminders that each and every effort, no matter how large or small, make a difference in this crazy but wonderful world in which live.  The first story was about a group of friends that get together and go out for dinner every year during Christmas.  What makes this dinner so special is that each person brings a $100 bill for the tip.  This year they were able to leave a $1500 tip-15 friends (their server had just experienced many tough times when this happened and this random act of kindness restored the servers belief that there are still good people out there).  The other story was of a gentleman who was going through a tough time and was unaware of how depressed his son was, to the point that his son had just written his suicide letter.  Well, instead of going home and yelling and being bitter and disconnected, as he would have every other day, this gentleman not only had a change of heart but a conversion of spirit and lifestyle after a random act of kindness -the person in front of him in a very long the line of traffic simply paid his $.50 toll! That evening, after the father showed his son love and kindness, the son burst into tears and gave his dad the letter and handed him the gun which he borrowed to take his life.   Some say, “little things don’t mean a lot…they mean everything”!  So whether your giving is big or small the Christmas, do it from the heart. Do it with love.
