Day in and day out we are faced with our clients calling, emailing, texting, and coming into our office telling us of an accident that just happened to them. Some of these are quite serious and some are incidents that have a little bit of hilarity to them.  Without fail, we are asked if this new claim will raise their premium (you can look back at our other discussions for more on that). There is not much that can be done after the fact, but there are preventative measures that you can do to be pro-active.  The article, “Sink or Swim” discusses how water damage happens all year long; not just during the winter.  Damage also occurs within mere minutes.  Take it from us.  Our water damage happened due to a faulty sink fitting.
